Dr. Roger von Haefen


Roger H. von Haefen is a Professor of Resource Economics and Associate Director of the Center for Environmental and Resource Economics Policy at North Carolina State University.  He is also the current Co-Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management.  His research specializes in nonmarket valuation, water, coastal management, and transport.  He most recently assessed the economic damages associated with the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.  He holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and Ph.D. from Duke University, both in economics.
